AT CLARISSA ACEVEDO STUDIO:

We offer residential architecture and interior design services. From full scale home renovations, additions or new builds to select focused kitchen or bath remodels.

We take projects from concept to completion through a detailed process, establishing a solid foundation from the start that keeps everybody in the same page and that influences the decisions we make along the way.

We work closely and collaboratively with both clients and builders to achieve beautifully personalized spaces that respond to the land and feel like home. 

ARCHITECTURAL PROCESS

We work on a fixed fee for most architecture projects, curated specifically to your project based on scope and complexity. Read more about our process below:

  • The first step before getting started on your project is to go over your wants, needs + budget. We work on a fixed fee curated specifically to your project based on scope and complexity. We work hourly for all Construction Administration.

    Once our scope and fee is finalized both parties will sign a contract that details what will be delivered when.

  • At this stage we work closely with you to establish the vision and essence of your project. You will be given a detailed client questionnaire. We use your answers to develop mood boards that establish the look and feel, as well as early spatial planning (layouts) and massing ideas.

    Once we select a final direction we will create a bid set for preliminary pricing with a builder of your choice. Depending on where your project is located we might have recommendations to share.

  • During this stage and once we have a rough estimate that aligns with your budget. We will start collaborating with a structural engineer and move forward to developing the exterior and interior aspects of your project.

    We will select materiality and make final decisions to move into Construction Documentation.

  • During this phase we will focus on producing detailed construction drawings based on our finalized design. As well as specifications for exterior/interior materiality, fixtures and fittings if we are working on the interior of your home.

    The project will go for one final round of pricing before it goes into contract.

  • At this stage and once the project is ready we will assist providing all drawings and specifications required to gain approval for building.

    Once reviewed, we will produce any additional information requested or changes required for approval as part of our previously agreed fixed fee.

  • Once the permit for your project has been approved the project will begin construction.

    We offer hourly Construction Administration services for all site visits and to help with any question that comes up during construction.

    This allows us to help you navigate all the change orders and make sure the project is built according to our finalized design.

As part of our interior scope we are able to select all hard finishes, appliances, fixtures and furniture, as well as design and develop drawings for cabinetry needed through-out the project. We work collaboratively and ensure that all selections align with our clients vision for the space by sharing physical samples, 2D and 3D drawings.
